Do you do requests, trades, or commissions?
Requests, as a matter of fact, no. Sorry! I'm just way too busy. Trades I may accept once in a while but very rarely. It really depends on your artistic ability and how well I know you. On the case of commissions, I may but it depends on time constraints and payment. Feel free to IM me (my AIM screenname is Divine Banana) or e-mail me at headbanana@modernbanana.com if interested.
Who are these weird colorful rabbit/bird-looking things all over your site?! They freak me out!
Oh, I see you've met Crystel and Rosebud! They're
actually gryphon characters in stories of mine. They're not the only characters
I write about... There's Gredaluna and Flinnia and Jameson and... Well,
you get the idea. But gryphons are half-lion, half-eagle mythological creatures.
Read
Wikipedia's gryphon article for more info.
You mentioned someone named Gredaluna. Whozzat?
A wonderful befreckled red-and-gold-head with stunning emerald eyes you'd be lucky to have come across your path. Well, in a way. She's a book character of mine that I plan to write about and illustrate within time to come.
Can I use your art on my website/AIM icon/whatnot?
No, I'm sorry, you can't. I prefer my work used only by me, so if I find it anywhere but on a site I placed it myself - you have stolen my art. Any form of artwork theft is a federally punishable crime. Thank you.
How did you make your website?
It took some time struggling through understanding of HTML and CSS, among other things, but thanks to sites such as Lissa Explains It All, it was really easy! If you look on Google also, you can probably find answers to all your coding-related questions.
Why on earth is your site called "ModernBanana.com"?
Well, my friend, see that blue banana with the sunglasses in the background? That would be your modern banana, THE modern banana. His name is Mr. Blue Banana and he is such a punk and one day he came to me and said, "Yo, dude! I'm good food!" but I didn't want to eat him so we became artistic partners instead so now you see him everywhere with me and that's about it. The end.
